Mine Protected Vehicle India (MPVI)

Mine Protected Vehicle India (MPVI) has been produced by the Defence Land Systems India which is a  joint venture between Mahindra and BAE Systems.

Mine Protected Vehicle India (MPVI) is designed to meet the Indian army requirements of a mine protected vehicle for the counter insurgency and anti-Naxal operations.

MPVI can carry upto 18 fully armed soldiers during a counter insurgency  operation. Mine Protected Vehicle India (MPVI) can protect the soldiers inside from a 14kg TNT blast and bullets of a typical AK-47 (7.62 mm x 39 ) and 5.56 mm.
Mine Protected Vehicle India (MPVI) can be equipped with a remote controlled weapon station armed with 12,7 mm machine gun.
